Where do I start?
Most clients who contact us have little or no experience in websites and
web design.
We are more than happy to explain and give the support that's needed -
all part of our service.
When you are ready to go ahead, we will provide you with our
'Website Starter Pack'
which gives all the information you need
to prepare the content for your website and help you
make a success of your new website.
How long will it take?
Our answer usually is:
"How soon would you like your website to be online?"
If your 'website contents' (information, text/images) are ready,
we can usually design your website within 1-3 weeks (depending on our
work-load) but it is always better if you can give us as much notice
as possible so we can plan our work shedule and remain fair to all our clients.

Our Flexible Approach to Web Design
We understand that all projects and all clients are different and work
with every client in the way that suits them best.
Some clients need their website online "as soon as possible", or have a certain
'launch date' to work to, while others don't have such constraints - occasionally
clients prefer preparing their website contents gradually over a period of time...
In order to respect each client's preferences, we can propose 2 options:
This is our usual approach: we liaise with you throughout the
design process. We offer advice and guidance while respecting your
involvement in the design aspect of your website.

Contact
You contact us by
email,
phone or
Quote Form and tell us about your business and
website requirements.

Meeting
We arrange a meeting to discuss your needs in depth and collect (if they are
ready) the information to be displayed in your website. At this stage,
we also require a deposit payment (Domain Name (if applicable)
and Web Hosting in full + 20% of our design costs based on the number
of pages).
Please note:
Our 'initial meetings' usually take a few hours
(approx 2 - 4 hours): we discuss your requirements
in depth, give you guidance on the organisation and structure
of your website contents and identify the styling options best suited for
your type of business.

Design
We design a few options based on what you told us during our meeting and
liaise with you to get your feedback and adjust the design according to
your preferences.
We are flexible in our method of contact: we feel e-mails are an
effective means of communication but we are happy to liaise
by phone or even regular meetings (unless distance prohibits it!).

Production
Once your design has been agreed and we have all the 'contents' for your
website, we design the site - we are happy to continue liaising with you
during that phase - and we put your website on a 'hidden' location on the net
where you can have a look and give us your feedback.

Website online
When you are happy with your website, we send us the invoice for the
balance cost of your website and upon receipt of your payment, we 'launch'
your website officially.
If you have little time to spare, or need your website online as soon as
possible, this could be the option for you.
Please note, however, that this option will only be viable if you have
already prepared your website contents and have a clear idea of what
style you would like for your website - or if you are happy to leave
most of the design choices options to us.

Website Design Preparation (online form)
You fill in and send us the
'Website Design Preparation' form with as many
details as possible. We contact you and give you a quotation for
the design - usually within 1-2 working days. If you are happy to go
ahead, you
need to confirm and send us a deposit payment - this is
the Domain Name Fee (if applicable)
and Web Hosting Fee (both in full) + 20% of our design costs based on the number
of pages).

Design - Production
We design the website and put your website on a 'hidden' location on the net
where you can have a look and give us your feedback.

Website online
When you are happy with your website, we send us the invoice for the
balance cost of your website and upon receipt of your payment, we 'launch'
your website officially.
This covers 2 aspects:
- Your Own Text and Images
Your website and the material it contents will be
your own 'intellectual property'. In the case of 'artistic work' being displayed
on your website, you will continue to own the sole copyright of any text or
graphics provided to us for inclusion on your website.
It also means that you will be responsible for the data
you provide to us - in terms of copyrights, intellectual ownership and in
terms of ethics. We would refuse the insertion of such material that
could be seen as offensive or pornographic.
- Acquired Material
If you wish to include photographs which are not your own, it will your
responsiblity to seek the necessary permissions or authorisations, or settle
the relevant royalty fees etc, if required, prior to sending these to us.
Please note the same applies to quotations and texts from sources other than
your own.
We usually agree a time-line for your website to be on-line at
our 'Initial Meeting' (or after we've received your online 'Website Preparation
Form' if you have opted for the 3-step design option).
We understand that some websites are more urgently
required than others. We endeavour to work to your request everytime
it is possible.
In order to achieve any timing requirements, you will need to provide us with
the website material (text, images etc) as early as possible.
We request payment of a deposit prior to the start of the design - to
be paid at the end of our 'Initial Meeting' or when you accept the
quotation we give you, if opting
for our '3-step (fast-track) Web Design' service:
- full payment of website set-up costs (Domain Name, Web Hosting as applicable)
- 20% of Design Costs - based on the number of webpages you will need
The Balance (80%) of the Design Costs will be due when your website is
online officially.
